Specialized in holistic care for horses and humans, Ann – Holistic Care offers several services and technologies. First of all, a global physical, energetic and emotional assessment is carried out using the NesHealth system – a bioresonance and biofeedback technology – which identifies any blockages and carries out an energetic rebalancing. This rectification, through the transmission of specific waves, frees up the circulation of energy and information in the body, restoring balance to the body’s field and managing stress.

Depending on the analysis carried out and its results, she uses various complementary methods to promote and accelerate well-being and respond to the specific needs of the person or animal.

Having tested Ann’s technologies ourselves, we’re happy to officially work with two of them on a daily basis with our horses, including Bol d’Air Equin.

The body’s cells need constant, balanced oxygenation to meet energy demands. Pollution, stress and other factors have a limiting effect on oxygenation, producing excess free radicals, as in the case of extreme exertion. Tissues become “hypoxic” and tend towards inflammation.

Over 40,000 scientific publications identify a link between hypoxia – lack of cellular oxygenation – and most human and animal health problems. It is therefore always important to improve tissue oxygenation while increasing resistance to oxidative stress.

Nes MiHealth

It’s a bioresonance and biofeedback device that identifies existing blockages and performs an energetic rebalancing. This rectification, through the transmission of specific waves, frees up the circulation of energy and information in the body, thus restoring balance to the body’s field and managing stress.

The device enables the body to be evaluated in a matter of seconds for a detailed analysis of the body field specific to each horse, and then act where necessary, with a personalized program for each horse.

Among other things, this technology allows to :

1) prevent chronic diseases and heal injuries faster
2) make the invisible visible by looking behind the symptoms
3) improve general well-being and enhance performance

Curafyt is a unique supplement brand developed by a veterinarian, Valérie, with support from over 400 other veterinarians.

Their goal is to improve the health of dogs and horses by bridging the gap between nutrition and medication. Valerie recognizes that while medications can be lifesaving, they often involve heavy treatments like antibiotics and cortisone, which can sometimes be excessive and have
unintended effects.

Valérie_Curafyt_AquilaFarm

This inspired Veterinarian Valérie to explore alternative plant-based solutions for the well-being of horses and dogs.

Curafyt’s philosophy is all about using the power of nature to address the root causes of health issues in animals, rather than just providing temporary solutions. They are committed to transparency, displaying their ingredient lists on their packaging and website.

They also follow strict regulations for competitions to ensure the integrity of their products. Their plant-based ingredients align with safety standards, and every batch of their supplements is tested in a certified laboratory in Paris. Look for their “Clean Sport”label, which indicates that their formula is free from any ingredients listed in the NOPS scheme.

For horses in training or recovery, we are lucky to work with a variety of care technologies, each more innovative and effective. We are happy that our horses can enjoy the benefits of Nordian Light Therapy.

What is Light Therapy ?

LED Light Therapy is one way to help the body heal itself. Nordian uses specific wave-lengths of light that are absorbed by a photo acceptor in the cell‘s mitochondria. The energy(photons) of the lights increases the energy within the cell accelerates the healing process. The lights must be of specific wavelengths and delivered at specific doses.

Nordian uses twowavelengths in the Light Therapy Pads: a visible red (660nm) and a near infrared (850nm)wavelength. The use of both – red and near-infraRed Light – is advantageous because thewavelengths are absorbed by different tissue depths.

nordian-lichttherapie-pad-xl-07cLcQ70qeItHEr

How does Light Therapy work and why?

There are many impressive studies showing that at certain wavelengths, LEDs increasecirculation by promoting the formation of new capillaries. These new capillaries speed upthe healing process by carrying more oxygen and transporting nutrients needed for healing.More waste products are also removed. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the bodyand the essential one protein used to repair and replace damaged tissue. Studies indicatethat LEDs stimulate the production of collagen. By increasing the production of collagen, less scar tissue is formed at the damaged area.

LED therapy stimulates the release of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the main sourceof energy for all cells and provides the chemical energy that the reaction of the cell drives.Increases in ATP allow cells to use nutrients faster and to get rid of waste products fasterby increasing the energy level in the cell. Furthermore, Light Therapy increases the activityof the lymphatic system. Oedemata consists of two basic components: liquid and protein.Research has shown that the diameter of the lymphatic vessels and the flow of the lymphaticsystem through the insert can be doubled by Light Therapy. This means that both parts ofthe oedemata can be eliminated much more quickly to reduce swelling. Visible Red Light(660nm) is very efficiently absorbed by the skin layers and works well for applications suchas stimulating trigger and acupuncture points and treating wounds and infections.

Nearinfrared Light (850nm) penetrates to a deeper level and is used to treat tendons, ligaments, bones, joints and muscles.Near infrared penetrates the skin to a depth of about 8-10mm, making it a beneficialtreatment for numerous diseases and conditions. The treatment also sends signals to thebrain, causing the release of endorphins (natural painkillers) and serotonin (the feel-goodhormone). This physiological chain reaction leads to a number of health benefits, including:

  • Pain therapy
  • Increase in lymphatic activity
  • Strengthening of the immune system
  • Increase in antiviral properties
  • Stimulation of acupuncture and trigger
  • points
  • Acceleration of cell regeneration
  • Increase in blood flow
  • Muscle relaxation and stress reduction
  • Shortening of regeneration time
  • Prevention of overexertion and injuries
  • Reduction of inflammation
  • Support of the healing process
  • Improved collagen product

What problems/injuries can I use Light Therapy for? – For horses

General: Arthritis/arthrosis, bursitis, bruising, burns, oedemata, (deep) muscleproblems, hematoma, inflammation, tense muscles and infections

Partner • Ellen Van Parys : B-E-St Therapist 1684 1684 Aquila Farm

Ambitious to always be able to offer the best to horses, Aquila Farm surrounds itself daily with various partners, helping us at different levels to best fulfill our mission. Meet Ellen Van Parys, equine osteopath (Vluggen i.o.) and recognised B-E-St therapist.

B-E-St (bio-energy-stimulation) is a therapy that uses frequency specific microcurrent.

This therapy has been successfully used for years in the rehabilitation and daily prevention of injuries in top-level sportsmen and women, and has recently been introduced in equine rehabilitation.

It’s a very low current (slightly higher than the current that we naturally have in our body), so the horse doesn’t feel it. Microcurrent applied to injured tissue supports the natural flow in the tissue, allowing cells in the injured tissue to heal faster.

This injured area has a higher electrical resistance than the surrounding tissue. This high electrical resistance reduces the electrical conductivity in the affected area and reduces cellular capacity, making it harder for nutrients to enter the cell and waste to be removed, ultimately leading to disruption of the healing process and to inflammation.

Applying microcurrent lowers that resistance, allowing the bioelectricity to flow back through the injured tissue and initiate the resumption of the normal function.

“Her view on equine rehabilitation and reintegration into work are closely aligned with those of Aquila Farm. Focusing on the horse as a whole, mechanically, chemically, neurologically and emotionally while respecting its individuality and nature.”

[ Horse Pilot ] Why do you ride? Kennismaking met Aurélie de Mévius 1920 1080 Aquila Farm

Why do you ride?
